The Aliko Dangote Foundation, in collaboration with the Ahmed Bola Oduleye Charity (ABOC) Foundation, has provided food assistance to 1,000 vulnerable individuals in Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
During the distribution event held in Wamba, Alhaji Ahmed Oduleye, CEO of ABOC Foundation, expressed gratitude for the relief efforts by Aliko Dangote Foundation, aiming to alleviate the hardships caused by fuel subsidy removal. The distributed items included rice, maize, and millet, complementing the state government’s relief initiatives.
Emphasizing continued support for the government’s humanitarian endeavors, Oduleye urged other NGOs and individuals to follow suit, emphasizing the significant impact even small gestures can have on alleviating hunger.
Honorable Mu’azu Gosho, the State Commissioner for Works, Housing, and Transport, commended both foundations for their contributions and encouraged proper utilization of the distributed items by beneficiaries. Similarly, local leaders and representatives expressed gratitude and emphasized the importance of sustained assistance to vulnerable communities.
Kefayat Olanrewaju, Programme Officer of ABOC Foundation, highlighted the organizations’ commitment to addressing hunger and improving lives, citing previous successful initiatives. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the assistance and prayed for blessings upon the organizations.
